Souvenirs of Britain's Prince George will be put into the Buckingham Palace annual January sale after they failed to sell last year.
The memorabilia - including tea towels, mugs and royal china - made to mark the royal tot's birth back in June last year will have their prices slashed in The Queen's Gallery gift shop and online.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Some baby George items were over-ordered and the January sales are a perfect way to get rid of stock.
"Sales have not reflected the public euphoria over George's arrival.
"It's a bit embarrassing, but a good chance for fans to snap up a bargain."
Meanwhile, Prince William - who graduated from the University of St Andrews in 2005 with a 2:1 degree in Geography - has left his wife Duchess Catherine and their son George for 10 weeks while he returns to university to study agriculture.
During his time on the course William will learn about the issues facing the UK's rural communities and the farming industry and is expected to attend lectures and meetings during the period, where he will be taught by academics from across the educational establishment.
