Britain's Prince George "loves the water."
The 12-month-old royal has been having swimming lessons with his mother Duchess Catherine, 31, and the brunette beauty told former world champion James Hickman at a SportsAid charity meeting on Monday (28.07.14) the tot enjoys splashing around in the pool.
James, 38, told the Express newspaper: "She was at the [Commonwealth Games] swimming [event] last night, so I was just interested to know if she had taken George swimming.
"Hopefully if they can get him swimming he could be a future international swimmer.
"She's been swimming with him. She said he loves the water and he grabs things to splash with.
"So, maybe he could be the next royal to take part in the Olympics and if he was in swimming that would be incredible."
Meanwhile, Prince William, who married Duchess Catherine in 2011, previously admitted that he would like George to learn how to scuba dive.
Speaking as the new president of the British Sub-Aqua Club, William, 31 said recently: "I hope my son George will also learn with the club but, at the moment, bath time is quite painful. But, as he gets older, I imagine donning a mask and snorkel might calm him down."
