Prince George's nursery will be decorated like a rainforest.
The newborn heir's father Prince William has revealed that he would like his son to adopt his enthusiasm for wildlife and plans to adorn his room with animal toys and leafy green motifs.
In an interview with CNN, he said: "I'll have toy elephants and rhinos around the room. We'll cover it in sort of, you know, lots of bushes and things like that. Make him grow up as if he's in the bush."
The proud new father was insistent on driving his son home from the hospital when after Duchess Catherine gave birth at St. Mary's Hospital in Paddington, London, last month and says he didn't want any "fuss".
He explained: "I think driving your son and your wife away from hospital was really important to me. And I don't like fuss so it's much easier to just do it yourself."
Prince William is adjusting to being a new parent and admits it has been a very "emotional experience".
Quizzed what he'd like to pass down to little George, he said: "At the moment, the only legacy I want to pass on to him is to sleep more and maybe not have to change his nappy so many times! I think the last few weeks for me have been just a very different emotional experience. Something I never thought I would feel myself."
