Britain's Prince Charles will visit a historic church in Wales today (13.12.13).
The Prince of Wales is expected to make a pre-Christmas royal visit to the country today, where he will be shown around the Ewenny Priory Church in south Wales, marking the first time a royal has visited the site in over 600 years.
The church was built in 1126 and hasn't been visited by a royal since Charles' ancestor King Henry IV visited in 1405.
The 65-year-old prince will be shown around the historic venue by the priest-in-charge, Philip Morris, and he will also be treated to an array of carols sung by a school choir from nearby Wales Primary School.
Philip said: "The congregation is delighted that His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales is making a special visit to Ewenny Priory Church.
"Ewenny Priory is one of the hidden treasures of Wales, a remarkable example of Norman architecture and very much a living church today."
As well as the church, Prince Charles will also visit the historic Tredegar House, attend a reception for one of his charities, and meet staff at the Brecon and Radnor Express newspaper, which celebrates its 125th anniversary.
