Prince Charles recorded a special message for BBC Radio 4's 'Just a Minute' Christmas special.
The 68-year-old royal will appear on the station's 'Just a Minute does Panto!' which will be broadcast on Christmas Day (25.12.16) ahead of the game, which is hosted by presenter Nicholas Parson - who has been the host since 1967 - who is thrilled to welcome the Prince of Wales' on air.
He said: "It was a pleasure to hear The Prince of Wales recount years of listening to Just a Minute with such fondness. But when he delivers his message will he make it to the end without hesitation, repetition or deviation? You'll find out on Christmas Day."
This year's festive game will feature special guests including Paul Metron, Gyles Brandreth and Sheila Hancock, Pippa Evans, Tony Hawks, Rufus Hound and Josie Lawrence as they go in search of the missing Golden Whistle.
Gwyneth Williams, the Controller of BBC Radio 4 and 4 Extra, said: "We know The Prince of Wales has enjoyed BBC radio comedy over many years so how fitting that he should join Just a Minute for this special Christmas episode. Radio 4 is the home of radio comedy and as Controller I am delighted to welcome him to the team, but Nicholas Parsons and Paul Merton take no hostages so I can only wish him luck!"
'Just a Minute does Panto! is broadcast on BBC Radio 4 on Sunday December 25 at 1.15pm.
