A full itinerary for Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall's visit to India has been released.
The royal pair will embark on a nine-day trip to the Asian country from November 6 and 14, where the prince will represent Queen Elizabeth - who has largely retired from long distance travel - at the 2013 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM).
The visit will see Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla head to Mumbai, Dehradun, New Delhi, Pune and Kochi.
During their official duties they will meet with both the President and Vice President of India, as well as many senior business figures and cultural leaders.
The royal couple will visit a world-leading inoculation factory in Pune, a ground-breaking mobile creche in Mumbai and one of the world's largest Hindu temples in New Delhi.
The visit will also encompass the oldest synagogue in the Commonwealth of Nations in Kochi as well as a boat trip through a mangrove conservation area in Mumbai.
In Dehradun the royals will visit The Indian Military Academy, The Forest Research Institute and the Doon School, where local women are being helped to finance their own self-employment projects.
Meanwhile in Kerala, the prince will make an off-road trip into an "elephant corridor", as well as having a private day off, where they can take in the stunning South Indian scenery.
Charles has previously made seven official visits to India, and has been accompanied there by the Duchess in 2006 and 2010.
