Buckingham Palace will host a special reception for 'Doctor Who' next week.
The BBC sci-fi drama is set to celebrate its 50th anniversary with a big royal seal of support as Sophie, the Countess of Wessex, welcomes Doctors past and present to mark the momentous occasion.
Joining the actors who have played the infamous character will be actresses who have played companions, BBC's director general Lord Hall, programme writers, production team members and more.
The reception will take place in the Bow Room of Buckingham Palace on Monday, November 18, and the venue will be decorated with props and trinkets from the 'Doctor Who' set - including the Time Lord's time-travelling machine, the TARDIS.
The Countess of Wessex will also have the opportunity to meet the Doctor's most famous nemesis, the Daleks, which will be on show, too.
Earlier this year, Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla visited the set of 'Doctor Who' in Cardiff, Wales, where they came face to face with the Daleks.
Prince Charles even imitated the robotic villains' signature catchphrase, 'Exterminate!'
