Pippa Middleton would "pine" after Rugby Union sports "heroes" during her adolescence.
The 30-year-old sister of Duchess Catherine would watch the games with her family and while her father, Michael Middleton, would be "in a state of disrepair" if the England team lost she spent her time gushing over the then-captain Will Carling or hunk Jonny Wilkinson
Pippa told UK's Vanity Fair magazine: "We'd plan our weekends around the big matches. If we lost, my dad would be in a state of despair for the rest of the afternoon, as if he'd actually lost the game himself. I, meanwhile, would merely be pining after the likes of Will Carling or Jonny Wilkinson, the heroes when I was a teenager."
The brunette beauty is reportedly engaged to boyfriend Nico Jackson who is said to have surprised her with a "romantic and grand" proposal during their vacation to the luxury Oberi Amarvilas resort in India last year.
A source previously said: "It was exactly how he planned it. Very romantic and grand."
