Millie Mackintosh is reportedly being eyed by Meghan Markle for a bridesmaid position at her upcoming wedding.
The 'Made in Chelsea' star - who was formerly married to rapper Professor Green and is now engaged to fellow socialite Hugo Taylor - is believed to have met Meghan just before she began romancing Prince Harry in 2016, and has reportedly become "invaluable" to the former 'Suits' actress whilst she plans her upcoming nuptials.
And, according to the Daily Mail newspaper, 28-year-old Millie is said to be so helpful that Meghan is considering offering her a spot in her bridal party.
A source said: "Some very knowledgeable people are saying she is actually being considered as a bridesmaid.
"While I would personally find that surprising, as members of the Royal Family tend to choose the children of their closest friends and relatives, Millie couldn't have been more hands-on with helping Meghan organise the wedding so far.
"They have a really close relationship and Millie has been a real source of support to Meghan during her move from Toronto and her new life in London."
Whilst Meghan, 36, has not confirmed her bridal party, other contenders for bridesmaid positions could include Prince Harry's two-year-old niece Princess Charlotte, Mia Tindall, the four-year-old daughter of Zara Tindall, and Duchess Camilla's 10-year-old granddaughter Eliza Lopes.
Eliza - who is the daughter of Prince Harry's step-sister Laura Lopes - had a starring role as a bridesmaid for Prince William and Duchess Catherine's wedding in 2011, and it is thought the young girl could reprise her role.
If Meghan does decide to choose her friends to accompany her as part of her bridal party, she may consider asking longterm showbiz pal Priyanka Chopra, who recently hinted she would be attending the ceremony.
Asked if she is going to be in attendance, the 35-year-old actress teased: "If you see me there, you'll know."
