Britain's Lady Louise Windsor has reportedly undergone eye surgery.
The 10-year-old royal - who is the youngest granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth - is celebrating after having an operation to correct exotropia, a condition that causes the eyes to turn outwards, just before Christmas, which has proved successful.
The youngster who is the daughter of Prince Edward and the Countess of Wessex developed the condition after being born prematurely in 2003, and despite having surgery at just two years old to treat the problem, the operation proved unsuccessful.
The royal family were concerned Lady Louise would be burdened with the condition, which causes a squint and double vision, for the rest of her life, but were worried about putting her through more surgery in case it was unsuccessful again.
It is not known when Lady Louise went through the second operation, but fans noticed a difference in the alignment of her eye at the Royal Ascot on December 21, according to the Express newspaper.
Prince Edward and Sophie have always been protective of their daughter and their six-year-old son James, and are adamant their children won't undertake official royal duties on behalf of the monarch in later life.
