The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge with baby George
Britain's Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince George have been immortalised in sand.
World Champion sculptors Nicola Wood and Susanne Ruseler created a 15 tonne sand sculpture of the new parents and their three-week-old son as part of the Brighton Sand Scuplture Festival.
The unusual 4 metre tall sandcastle depicts the happy family as they presented their son to the world's media in front of London's St. Mary's Hospital on June 23.
According to the BBC, Nicola said: "We are hugely excited about this festival. Brighton is such a vibrant, cultural city and I can't wait to work with local artists and to bring Black Rock to life."
While the Duke and Duchess and their baby - who will be third in line to the throne - are new additions to the line-up, the festival has been open since April and will run until September. The event held in Brighton, on the south coast of England, takes places at the Black Rock site.
This is the second time baby George has received his own likeness in the two weeks since his birth, since a US company has also immortalised the royal heir with a special edition porcelain doll, dressed in an elaborate christening gown.
