The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are planning to take their son Prince George to Scotland and Norfolk for a vacation in August.
The royal couple and their 12-month-old son are set to spend some of August in the north of England to see Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla at their Highland home as well as paying a visit to Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip at their Balmoral Castle.
The pair, who got married in 2011, will then spend the rest of the month at the Queen's Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, where the final refurbishments are being completed on their new country home, Anmer Hall.
A source told Vanity Fair magazine: "They will be at Anmer for much of the time they have off. They cannot wait to move in and they want to make sure the last stages of the refurbishments go to plan."
The stunning 10-bedroom property has its own tennis court and swimming pool which will be perfect for little George, who is currently learning how to swim.
The Duchess - who was formerly known as Kate Middleton - revealed to former world champion James Hickman at a SportsAid charity meeting on Monday (07.28.14) that the tot enjoys splashing around in the pool at Buckingham Palace in London.
James said earlier this week: "She was at the [Commonwealth Games] swimming [event] last night, so I was just interested to know if she had taken George swimming. Hopefully if they can get him swimming he could be a future international swimmer.
"She's been swimming with him. She said he loves the water and he grabs things to splash with."
