Britain's Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are enjoying "nice, private family time".
The royal couple - who welcomed their daughter Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana into the world on Saturday (02.05.15) - are happy to be getting to know their new addition and spending time with their 22-month-old son Prince George away from the rest of the world.
A palace source said: "[They] have been enjoying nice, private family time."
While a close friend of the couple added: "It's a terribly exciting time for them."
The new family of four made their first outing together yesterday (06.05.15) and headed to their Norfolk estate Anmer Hall, where they are planning to spend the summer together.
The country house, which recently underwent refurbishments, is situated close to where Prince William, 32, is to continue training with the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
An insider told PEOPLE: "They are very settled, his job is set, they have their house, and the status quo hasn't changed in the royal family at large. So they are looking forward to a period of calm."
