Britain's Duke of Cambridge flew on a Ryanair flight to Scotland.
The 33-year-old prince shocked passengers when he boarded the budget flight at noon from Stansted to Glasgow, with just one bodyguard, and, as seen in pictures on the Mail Online, he was wearing glasses too.
William was travelling to Scotland from his Norfolk home on June 22 as part of his training to fly with the East Anglian Air Ambulance, and it had been revealed days earlier that William took a helicopter from Highgrove to Windsor - which is only 90 minutes by car - to attend an event marking the 800th anniversary of Magna Carta.
Prince William took unpaid leave in April, following the first phase of his training with East Anglian Air Ambulance, to spend time with his new daughter Princess Charlotte, his wife the Duchess of Cambridge and two-year-old son Prince George, and he previously served in the Royal Air Force, most recently as a search and rescue pilot.
In late May, it was reported how he was in the closing stages of his training to be a pilot with the ambulance team, enabling him to take up a new role transporting patients to hospitals across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk.
