Britain's Duchess of York supported her ex-husband Prince Andrew at an official engagement this week.
Sarah Ferguson - who split from the father of her daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, in 1996 - accompanied him to St. James' Palace for the Pitch@Palace event to promote British entrepreneurship, signalling her return to the royal fold.
The couple remained on good terms ever since their split, raising their daughters together while living in the same house, but it was not until recently that Prince Andrew's royal family showed they too accepted their split.
Last month the Queen gave Sarah - who is also commonly known as Fergie - permission to hold a gala for her charity Children in Crisis at the state apartments at Windsor Castle.
However, it has been revealed that she was not in fact invited to her ex-husband's event but showed her face as an act of support.
A source told the Evening Standard newspaper: "She was not on the official guest list but the Duke was very happy for her to come along.
"The Duchess didn't stay for the photographs but was happy to support the Duke along with their daughters."
