British Prime Minister David Cameron has officially congratulated Prince William and Duchess Catherine on the birth of Prince George.
The politician made the announcement in the House of Commons earlier today (04.09.13) ahead of a formal motion, which will be drawn up on Monday (09.09.13), to enable members of parliament to add their congratulations.
It's not the first time Cameron has praised the couple on the birth of their little one - who was born on July 22 - and he and wife Samantha recently splashed out to get the baby a collection of children's books by legendary author Roald Dahl.
His opposite number, Labour leader Ed Miliband, bought the little one a three-year-old apple tree, which came complete fruit on it.
What's more, Nick Clegg and his wife Miriam treated the newborn baby to a blanket hand-embroidered by Spanish nuns, as well as coffee to help William and Catherine sleep.
The politician said: : "We found some beautiful, I think anyway, beautiful cover, a cot cover and a cot sheet which is hand-embroidered in a convent in the village where Miriam comes from in Spain, where I was a few days ago.
"The nuns, they make these beautiful handmade things so we've sent that and we've thrown in with a gift, a large bag of our favourite coffee because as parents of little boys, we know you need that coffee when you're coping with little boys.
"Miriam and I sent a letter with a gift just yesterday to Kensington Palace."
