Monaco's Charlotte Casiraghi is ready to give birth.
The 27-year-old royal - who is engaged to French comedian Gad Elmaleh - has left her Parisian residence for her native home in Monaco to welcome the couple's first child together.
Although heavily pregnant Caroline has recently been spotted shopping with her close friends, she has since returned to the family's Clos Saint-Pierre villa, where her mother Princess Caroline resides, until the birth.
Her fiance, Gad, is also winding up his international tour close by at Monte Carlo's Salle De Princes should Caroline go into labour and isn't due to return to work until next year.
A source recently said: "Theirs is a beautiful love story and now there is a baby on the way. It's a proud moment for them."
Charlotte - who is the daughter of Princess Caroline and her second husband, the late Stefano Casiraghi - met the France funnyman in November 2011 at the home of a mutual friend. Gad, 42, already has a 12-year-old son from a previous relationship.
The couple were originally rumoured to wed in a private ceremony before the baby's arrival.
