Charlotte Casiraghi of Monaco is enjoying a "remarkably normal" life in Italy.
The 30-year-old royal - who is the daughter of Caroline, Princess of Hanover - has settled in well in Rome with her boyfriend, filmmaker Lamberto Sanfelice.
A source told PEOPLE magazine: "Things are remarkably normal. She is happy for the moment, enjoying what seems like quiet stability ...
"The couple seem very comfortable out of the spotlight. He has been on vacation with Charlotte, her son and her family, and they seem to be enjoying this time together. The story is that they're approaching their first anniversary together and things are good between them."
And Charlotte - who has two-year-old son Raphaël with her former partner Gad Elmaleh - is enjoying the best that Rome has to offer including trips to markets or days out in the park.
The mother-of-one has also got to know Lamberto's friends and the happy couple enjoy having dinner together from time to time.
Charlotte also speaks fluent Italian, which has no doubt made it easier for her to settle in.
