Britain's Princess Beatrice has landed a job at a fashion investment company.

The eldest daughter of Prince Andrew, the Duke of York and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson is said to have been offered a prestigious job at the New York-based company following her successful finance course at a San Francisco university, the Daily Mail newspaper reports.

Meanwhile, Duchess Sarah previously revealed her daughter is much more "financially savvy" than she is.

She said: "She's doing very well. She's very financially savvy, unlike her mother ... We have a great time in New York. We'll probably go somewhere downtown. We love going out downtown."

And 27-year-old Princess Beatrice is known for her love of exotic holidays, having most recently spent New Year's Eve in St. Barts.

When questioned how she may get the money to travel so much, one source said: "Let's face it, it doesn't do Virgin any harm that the company gets a mention every time Bea appears on Dave's [Clark; her boyfriend who works for Virgin Galactic] arm."

Whilst another added: "Her father buys a business-class ticket on British Airways, but they always bump her up to first."
