The 67-year-old royal - who is the wife of the heir apparent Prince Charles - has offered a limited batch of 250 jars of her The Duchess of Cornwall Honey to the London based luxury food store.

All proceeds from sales of the honey - which is produced by bees in the Duchess' garden in Wiltshire and costs £20 for a jar - will go towards the Medical Detection Dogs charity.

The store's chief executive Ewan Venters said: "Honey is very close to our hearts at Fortnum's. We have four beehives housed on our roof at Piccadilly and a dedicated beekeeper who nurtures and protects our bees to produce incredible honey that is stocked on our shelves.

"The Duchess's honey is a more than welcome addition, and one I'm certain our customers will love."

The honey is available to buy from their Piccadilly, St Pancras International and Heathrow Terminal 5 stores as well as online at fortnumandmason.com from today (02.04.15).
