Britain's Duchess of Cambridge hosted the first ever Place2Be Wellbeing in Schools Awards at Kensington Palace last night (19.11.14).
The 32-year-old royal invited the children's mental healthy charity, of which she is a patron, into her home in London for the ceremony - during which she presented the Child Champion Award to a special youngster who had been inspired to help others after overcoming their own struggles.
The brunette beauty - who is four months pregnant with her and husband Prince William's second child - was spotted mingling with guests prior to the ceremony, reports HELLO! magazine.
Benita Refson, chief executive of Place2Be, has thanked the Duchess, née Kate Middleton, for her "total and utter belief" in the organisation.
She said: "This is a wonderful, exciting opportunity to honour our young people and schools in such a wonderful setting.
"The Duchess' total and utter belief in what we do and her commitment to children's mental health is incredible."
The Duchess and Prince William, 32, will next travel to New York in December where they will meet with charities helping disadvantaged kids, marking their first official engagement in the city.
