Britain's Prince Harry will undergo special training in combating terrorist hostage-takers this week after Islamic extremists threatened to assassinate him.Harry and his Army comrades will pose as hooded hostages in a role-play training exercise which will see them learn how to tackle terrorist kidnap situations.Britain's The Sun newspaper, uncovered threats on Prince Harry's life on an extremist website, following the announcement that he will be deployed to Iraq with his Blues and Royals regiment. One of the messages on the site read: "May Allah give him what he deserves - like his fellow crusaders." Another read: "Harry must be wishing for his death." Army chiefs fear that the 22-year-old prince will become a target for Islamic militant group al-Qaeda, who could kidnap Harry and use him as a tool for publicity. Army officials are hoping the extra training will prepare Harry - who is due to be sent to Iraq in May - for the worst case scenario.

A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "The exercise could prove vital for Harry and his men. They will be taken through a number of scenarios they may have to face in Iraq. It is important the soldiers learn how to react."

Meanwhile, Harry's girlfriend, Chelsy Davy, has begged her royal boyfriend not to go to the war-torn country.

Chelsy, 21, reportedly bombarded Harry with phone calls over the weekend pleading with him to reconsider.

A source told Britain's The People newspaper: "She kept ringing because she thought Harry was being too blasé about his safety.

"She is worried and wishes Harry wasn't going to Iraq at all."
