This could be in the early stages of pregnancy or when you have finished work and are off on maternity- but there are some things that you need to do before your little bundle of joy comes along.
Go to the cinema
See all the films you want to before you give birth because once your baby checks out of your area- you won’t have the time, the babysitter or the inclination to sit in a dark room without falling asleep.
Have regular date nights
If you are used to date nights every week or month- these will probably go out of the window once your baby arrives. Enjoy time with each other and only each other because before long you will no longer be a twosome but a three or foursome and date nights will become family nights.
Have sex
As you get bigger, you might feel less sexy and once the baby has left your body- 9 months’ worth of periods in one go and extreme exhaustion can put a damper on your sex life. So, while you can- enjoy being intimate.
Sleep
Once you’ve satisfied each other sexually- sleep. Sleep will become a luxury so get as much of it as you can while you can and savour every lie in together. I’m sorry to break it to you but you won’t see a lie in again for many years once your child enters the world.
Watch all your favourite shows together
Once your baby lands, you won’t be able to stay awake to watch a full episode of anything so make sure you have binged all the shows you have been promising you’ll watch together, or you never will.
Enjoy being a couple
Like it or not- your identities will shift from spouses, fiancées or partners to parents and you’ll probably forget how to be lovers. So, while it’s just the two of you- appreciate every moment you have as significant others.
Make a big deal out of mealtimes
Cook as much as you can, sit at a table and wine and dine each other. Before long you will be eating on the go and grabbing whatever is available and edible with no consideration for the consequences on your health.
So, there we have it- seven things you might want to get under your belt before your due date. Enjoy!
