Pauly D has confirmed he recently became a father for the first time.

The former 'Jersey Shore' star revealed his ex-girlfriend gave birth to a baby girl a few months ago and he is very excited about moving on from his party boy past.
"I'm proud I'm a father. I am excited to embark on this new part of my life."
The DJ, whose real name is Paul DelVecchio, reportedly met his former flame in Las Vegas and she is currently residing in New Jersey so Pauly can be a hands-on dad.
The 33-year-old star took a paternity test after his daughter's birth a few months ago and he has since accepted responsibility for her.
The former reality TV star is the second 'Jersey Shore' cast member to become a parent.
Snooki has a 14-month-old son, Lorenzo, with her fiance Jionni LaValle.
Pauly previously praised the 25-year-old star for being a "great mother."
Talking to TMZ he said, "Everyone says 'She's crazy, how could she be a mother?' But she flipped a switch -- she went right into motherhood. She said she was scared she wouldn't know what to do but her motherly intuitions kicked in and I can see it."
