Over half of parents struggle to get their children to eat fruit, according to new research. In fact, the findings show that for 12 per cent of mums it proves so difficult, they’ve given up.

The survey from Fruit Bowl®, creators of a new range of fruit snacks, highlights the problems parents face when trying to get their children to eat fruit, especially when it comes to snacking.
The survey also revealed that three quarters of mums allow their children to nibble between meals, however when it comes to the snacks they give their child, mums confessed biscuits, crisps and sweets are popular choices.
Three in four mums also admitted that their child wouldn’t consider fruit as a treat.
