Royal couple Prince William and Kate Middleton were voted top of the poll by UK mums and dads, of pre-school age children, as the Godparents they would most want for their kids.
The poll, carried out by personalised baby gift website My1stYears.com, found that showbiz royalty and world-famous politicians were popular choices too with David and Victoria Beckham and British PM David Cameron and his wife Samantha taking second and third place in the poll, respectively.
Music stars Jay-Z and Beyonce polled in fourth place followed by Sir Elton John and his husband David Furnish.
Jamie Oliver and wife Jools also featured in the top ten along with TV couple Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield.

Hollywood couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie also featured on the list although one respondent joked, “I’d be worried about them trying to adopt my kids.”
The survey asked parents to select their dream Godparents on the basis of who they felt made the best role models for their offspring.
A massive 92 per cent said they would ditch their child’s current Godparents if they could replace them with an A-list couple.
One respondent, who named Prince William and Kate as their choice, said: “We asked my friend and his wife to be Godparents to our baby son Kyle but if Wills and Kate had been available I’d definitely have given them the nod.”
The respondent added: “Royal Godparents would definitely be a door opener for Kyle as he grows up. I expect he’d be invited to all the parties they go to and get free seats at places like Wimbledon and Wembley. And just think of all the expensive gifts!”
Another parent, who named David and Victoria Beckham as their dream choice Godparents, said: “Our daughter Lexi would make a great Godchild for the Beckhams. She’s exactly the same age as their little one Harper Seven so they could play together while I do lunch with Victoria. It would also mean we’d get awesome hand me downs.”
A father who chose the Prime Minister and his wife said: “Everyone wants the best for their children and I can’t help but thinking that being the Godson of the PM could open doors for my son Noah. Who knows he might even help with his school fees for Eton. It’d certainly make a change from the local comp.”
A spokesman for My1stYears.com said parents still took the choice of Godparents very seriously.
He said: “When it comes to choosing Godparents people usually choose friends or family members they trust. But it seems that given a choice, most of us would give our trusted loved ones the elbow if we had the chance to give our children famous Godparents.
“The overwhelming reason seems to be the perceived benefit to their child of having a famous connection. It’s not just the gifts they would shower on their God child. It seems most of the parents we asked believed that the celebrity of the Godparent would open doors for their children,” the spokesman added.
