Michael Buble is excited for the birth of his son - due any day now - and insisted neither he nor his wife Luisana Lopilato were "anxious" about becoming first-time parents.
Michael Buble isn't moving more than 20 minutes away from home so he won't miss the birth of his son.
The 37-year-old crooner's first child with wife Luisana Lopilato is due any day now and the star is staying close to her as he awaits the birth.
He told TV show Entertainment Tonight Canada: "I'm about 15 to 20 minutes away from home. Just in case anything happens, I'm there."
The 'Haven't Met You Yet' singer admitted it is a "scary" situation for Luisana, who is away from her native Argentina, but he is doing his best to keep her relaxed.
He added: "It's scary for her. She's in a country that's not her country, people are speaking a language that's not her first language.
"So, you know, I've got her whole family here so there's a good support system."
Despite the hint of potential communication problems, Michael insisted the couple are not "anxious" about their son's birth. although he can't focus on anything else at the moment.
He said: "I don't know what to expect, because obviously I've never expected before.
"I'm just really, actually enjoying it. To be honest with you, neither of us are anxious. We're just excited, we can't wait to know what it's like. We can't wait to meet this little guy."
