Kimberly Wyatt was "secretly hoping" she'd fall pregnant with a baby girl.
Kimberly Wyatt admits she was hoping she'd have a baby girl first as she knows more about them being an auntie to two nieces.The former Pussycat Doll and her husband Max Rogers are set to welcome a daughter - their first child together - into the world in December and she admits she was overjoyed when she found out the tot's sex.
Speaking to the MailOnline, she said: "I was secretly hoping for a little girl. I have two nieces who I adore and love and I think I felt more comfortable with having a girl first more than a boy."
The couple - who got married in February - already have a few cute names "in the pipeline" ready for when the little one makes her arrival and they are "slowly but surely" getting a nursery ready in the home they share.
Meanwhile, the 'Got To Dance' judge was shocked to find out she'd fallen pregnant so quickly.
She explained: "Once we were married we were talking about starting a family but we thought we'd have a little more time to have fun! Clearly everything was in working order for us both!"
Kimberly - who was born in the US - is planning to bring up her little girl in England.
She said previously: "I love the life Max and I have built here. England is home for me now.
"There is nothing cuter than having a baby growing up with a British accent."
