The Price Tag singer bravely shared her experience during an interview with Dragon’s Den investor, Steven Bartlett, during his podcast ‘The Diary of a CEO.’

The 34-year-old was open and honest when talking with Steven, admitting that she had “never felt so lonely” after learning about the tragic news.

The singer gave an insight into her traumatic ordeal and recalled the day she knew that “something didn’t feel right.”

She revealed that she listened to her gut instinct and sought professional advice to check the baby’s health. Initially, the first scan she had; she was told that the baby still had a heartbeat, despite being very low.

However, the British songstress still felt uneasy, and the same day visited another doctor who explained that the baby no longer had a heartbeat.

“I had two scans in the same day and between the two is when the baby had passed,” she recalls.

Jessie went on to say how she had no one to turn to and on returning home after the ultrasounds, she ‘fell to her knees and had never felt so lonely.’

During the podcast, she explained that afterwards, whilst talking with her mum, she felt that she ‘shouldn’t do this [pregnancy] alone.’

“It was the saddest thing, but at the same time, I knew that the reason it happened was because I wasn’t supposed to do it alone… I know that I’m supposed to find someone who wants this as much as I do.”

We send our well wishes to Jessie.
