Jamie-Lynn Sigler says becoming a mother has been an "overwhelming" experience.
The former 'Sopranos' star gave birth to son Beau Kyle Dykstra - her first child with fiancé Cutter Dykstra on August 28. Now Sigler has shared a picture of the newborn boy in an interview with Us Weekly magazine.
The 32-year-old actress has gone on to speak about her first six weeks of motherhood, saying "I get how they say you will never know what love is until you have a child. It's such an overwhelming feeling of responsibility, of love, of fear, of everything."
The proud mum found herself in labour for a gruelling 36 hours giving birth to little Beau, who weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces, and she is not ready to go through pregnancy again quite yet.
She quipped: "This little man needs his time!"
Jamie-Lynn also explained that she and baseball player Cutter, 24, plan to travel with their son when the athlete's new baseball season kicks off.
The 'Sopranos' actress' pregnancy was far from smooth sailing as she was left distraught by the death of her former on-screen dad James Gandolfini - who played mobster Tony Soprano in the hit HBO drama - in June.
A heavily pregnant Jamie-Lynn attended James' funeral in New York along with her on-screen mother, Edie Falco, and many other cast members from the show.
