In a recent survey conducted by Mission Foods, 3,000 children between the ages of seven and 19 were questioned about their thoughts on the good old traditional sarnie.
The majority of children said they ate sandwiches five times a week at school. But 44 per cent claimed they were bored of them and would prefer to try something a little different. Top of the poll for favourite choice of filling was ham with ham and cheese coming in a close second.
