Bruce Willis has confessed he would like to be a stay-at-home dad.
The 59-year-old actor's wife Emma Heming gave birth to their second daughter Evelyn, a sister for two-year-old Mabel, last week and the former model is delighted her spouse is such a hands-on parent.
Speaking before she gave birth to Evelyn, Emma told Britain's HELLO! magazine: "Luckily, Bruce decided to take some time off to help with Mabel during my pregnancy. He's a very hands-on dad - and secretly I think he'd like to be a stay-at-home dad.
"He's all hands on - and thankfully so. I really couldn't do it without him. That's why I have such respect for single parents. My mom was a single parent, she worked three jobs to support us. I look back and think, 'How could she juggle it all and not lose her mind?'
"I'm so grateful to have such a dedicated dad for our child ... He's a family man. He loves being a dad."
Emma and Bruce feel "grateful" he is able to spend so much time with their children as he was working so hard when his other kids - grown-up children Rumer, Scout and Tallulah, his kids from his marriage to ex-wife Demi Moore - were young.
The 35-year-old model-and-actress added: "When he had his first three kids he was making movie after movie. Of course, he was around and they would see him while filming.
"We are lucky enough to have that option that he can be home more often."
And the couple stay home with their daughter so often, even Emma's mother poked fun at their "boring" ways.
She said: "As for our social life, we're both low-key. We aren't at every party, nor do we want to be. We love being at home with Mabel. My mom calls us a right bore."
