New research reveals that just under half of parents who read to their children spend less than 10 minutes doing so.
The research also shows more than a third of parents say they are too tired and busy to read to their child after working all day, with 18 per cent admitting they find bedtime reading with their children stressful as they don’t want to go to sleep. A third admit they skip paragraphs or pages in order to finish bedtime stories quicker.
