Christmas Shopping

With less than a month until Christmas day approaches, it's about time we started getting into the festive spirit and getting the diary chocker block with things to do in the run up to Christmas day!

Finding something to keep the kids busy in the mean time can be a lengthy endeavour. A lot of families like to go away for the holiday. It’s a great way of doing something new for the holiday and relaxing for the entire family sacrifice any responsibilities you have to do on the day and enjoy the day!

This might be good for some, but let's not be quick to dismiss Britain's potential for showcasing a great Christmas.

We're in a time when spending has to be curbed, but it doesn't mean we have to spend the Christmas period stuck in front of the TV watching repeats of the Christmas edition of Only Fools and Horses.

Get outside and visit some of the exciting events this country has to offer around Christmas time!

London is an awe-inspiring thing at Christmas time and for anyone celebrating at home, it's without a doubt the place to visit in the run up to Christmas.

Every year The Tate in London invites a top contemporary artist to create a new Christmas tree with a bit of a difference. Last year's Tate Christmas tree was designed by high profile duo Bob and Roberta Smith.

The unusual yuletide offering was a christmas tree made entirely of recycled rubbish and found objects. Visitors had to climb aboard the bicycles at the bottom to help switch the lights on. Although this year's tree is yet to be revealed, we're betting it's something not to be missed!

www.viewlondon.co.uk can offer you all that you need to know about Yuletide happenings in the city.

London might be a real treat at Christmas time, but our northern lights shine just a bright and shopping in Manchester's famed Christmas markets rival some of the very best in Britain and Europe.

The sights, sounds and aromas of Manchester markets twinkling chalets are bursting with gift ideas and seasonal produce from across Europe.

This is the perfect venue for a social get-together or festive day out with the family. The markets can be traced throughout the whole of the city centre in Albert Square, St Ann's Square, Exchange Street, New Cathedral Street and Brazennose Street.

Apart from all that, Christmas wouldn't Christmas without a bit of dodgy acting, some even dodgier costumes and a couple of drag queens to shout at on any of this countries biggest stages!

From Blackpool to Brighton, there's a huge range of shows you can visit, and despite how cringey it might get shouting 'he's behind you!' at the token dumb guy, there's no doubt you'll love seeing the smiles it will bring to the kids faces!
