Nigella Lawson and Myleene Klass have been voted as 2007s Yummiest Mummies while Britney Spears and Kerry Katona were crowned Slummy Mummy of the Year in a recent poll.
Chef Nigella and singer Myleene topped the poll, which saw Victoria Beckham - last years winner - knocked off the top slot into ninth position, behind her former band mate - Emma Bunton - who entered the poll this year at number eight.
The survey was organised by childrens cancer charity CLIC Sargent to mark the fourth National Yummy Mummy Week (15-23 September).
Over 1,000 people were asked and found Nigella, who has two children and who was runner up in last years poll to Victoria Beckham, and new mum Myleene, who gave birth in August, were considered the yummiest celebrity mums both garnering 18% of the vote. Angelina Jolie (15%), Kate Winslet (14%) and Davina McCall (10%) came in third, fourth and fifth places respectively (full top ten below).
At the other end of the spectrum, almost half of the nation has shown that Britney Spears can beat off all the competition to win the Slummy Mummy of the year title (49%). The mum of two was voted the most scruffy, unkempt and un-yummiest mummy of all. Runner up in this category was Kerry Katona who scooped 24% of the vote.
The Dishy Daddy of the year, last year won by David Beckham, was voted as Brad Pitt by a third of the population (33%). Brad has quickly grown a large family, becoming father to four children with Angelina Jolie. Ewan McGregor was second, beating last years winner David Beckham into third place, with Phillip Schofield and Jude Law in fourth and fifth position (19%, 15%, 8% and 8% respectively). A perhaps surprising new entry into the poll this year was Gordon Brown, who came in at number nine, beating TVs Richard Madeley.
Sarah Gunn, CLIC Sargents organiser of National Yummy Mummy Week, says: We ask people what makes a Yummy Mummy and they tell us its someone for who kids and family clearly come first, but who also remember that theyre confident, sexy and sassy women with their own successful style. Nigella and Myleene are clearly all of those things and also someone who real mums - both old and young - can relate to. We are delighted to welcome them both to our Yummy Mummy hall of fame. As for Dishy Daddies, the combination of being a clearly devoted father together with that certain X factor is clearly the recipe to success for Brad Pitt.
In the two remaining categories - Tummy Mummy of the Year, for the mum that carried off pregnancy the best, and Money Mummy of the Year - for the mum with the greatest love of brands and designer gear, Myleene Klass and Victoria Beckham won respectively.
Sarah Gunn continues: Myleene certainly proved that she had Klass as a pregnant woman. Men and women of all ages agreed that she carried herself with the most style. Whilst Victoria Beckham won the title of Money Mummy of the year with very little competition; she got 74% of the vote.
At the end of the day though, this is all a bit of fun. National Yummy Mummy Week is all about real mums celebrating what it is to be a mum whilst raising funds for children with cancer. Over the next week more than 100,000 women of all ages will be taking part in events as varied as coffee mornings, cake sales, pampering parties and nights out. In doing so they will be raising money for CLIC Sargent - the childrens cancer charity that provides support and care for the 10 children and young people diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK.
If you want to celebrate being or knowing a Yummy Mummy, its not too late. Visit www.clicsargent.org.uk/yummymummy to find out how you can host your own event or take part in one of the 12 PJ 5Ks - sponsored walks that are completed in pyjamas - that are taking place during the week.
There is also a fantastic range of Im a Yummy Mummy and Im the Daddy gifts and goodies to buy online from the website. For those mums that fancy a flutter too, they can support National Yummy Mummy Week by playing bingo online at www.ladbrokes.com/yummymummy. In the run up to National Yummy Mummy Week, event sponsors Ladbrokes.com will be running a promotion whereby they will match every full house won between 7pm and 8pm on a Friday and will donate the money to CLIC Sargent.
All the money raised by National Yummy Mummy Week will be used by CLIC Sargent to provide support and care for the thousands of families affected by childhood cancer every year in the UK.
