Jade Goody, Kate Moss and Heather Mills McCartney are all current possibilities for Celebrity Mum of the Year after being shortlisted for the title.

They are with another famous 17 faces nominated in a survey of over 10,000 by catalogue company Grattan.

The nomination for the reality TV star is considered a huge shock after she created international outrage because of her alleged "racial bullying" of the Bollywood beauty Shilpa Shetty in Big Brother.

After departing from the show it was numerous days before she could see her two sons, Bobby, 3 and Freddie, 2.

A spokesperson for the poll is quoted as saying in the Sun newspaper:"Her big mouth got her into trouble, but the nation still thinks she is a mum to admire."

2006's champion Sharon Osbourne is not in the running this time, but Geri Halliwell, Victoria Beckham and the Duchess of York are all in the list.

Other entries include Sara Cox, Tess Daly, Nell McAndrew, Jamelia, Alex Curran, Katie Price, Fern Britton, Lorraine Kelly, Davina McCall, Yasmin Le Bon, Louise Redknapp and Patsy Kensit.
