Father Christmas

Father Christmas

Whilst the Kids are at school take the opportunity to shop for gifts, no hour should be wasted in the preparation for Christmas and it is unrealistic to think that you will get all your presents in one swift shopping trip.

Don’t forget to enjoy Christmas yourself, organise a Christmas party, host it on a weekend evening and invite friends and family.

Dress in festive attire and make a party menu with alcohol and appetisers for your guests, or even a buffet.

Organise it for the weekend before Christmas to give people plenty of notice. It will also provide an opportunity to swap presents.

If you feel you’ve got the hang of all this planning, you could also organise a children’s Christmas party.

Agree with other parents to take it in turns to take the kids for the night and host Christmas sleepovers, this way all parents get a chance to get their kids out of the house for a short time.

When it’s your turn to have the children over get involved with the fun, arts and crafts, baking, finger foods and hot chocolate, even a visit from your fat uncle dressed as Father Christmas wouldn’t go amiss and the children would love it!
