In the comic book world, Thor the god of thunder wields a magical hammer named Mjolnir that only those who are 'worthy' can lift. This results in only Thor being able to pick the hammer up rendering it immovable to anyone else.
Alan Pan, or Sufficiently Advanced on YouTube, has created his own Mjolnir that only allows him to lift. He has done this by using a capacitive touch sensor, an electromagnet from the transformer of a microwave, and a fingerprint scanner registered to only his thumb print.
The head of the hammer also contains an Arduino Pro Mini microcontroller board and four 12v batteries.
Take a look at the video below where Pan takes his invention to Venice Beach, California to see if he can find anyone worthy enough to pick up his hammer.
