Ronda Rousey has played down talk of an imminent rematch against Holly Holm, after she suffered a shock defeat in Melbourne last month.

The UFC world was stunned when Rousey, who recently grabbed the ESPY awards for best fighter and best female athlete, lost her UFC women's bantamweight title at UFC 193 after being knocked out by Holm.
Although UFC chief Dana White said last week that a rematch is "going to happen", 28-year-old Rousey told ESPN Magazine's Ideals of the Year edition, "It might be three to six months before I can eat an apple, let alone take an impact."
Rousey, in her first interview since the clash, also fuelled speculation that a possible concussion sustained in the first round against Holm could be the reason behind her surprising defeat.
"I got hit in that first round. … I cut my lip open and knocked a couple of my teeth loose. I was out on my feet from the very beginning," she told ESPN.
"I wasn't thinking clearly.
"It was like a dumbed-down dreamy version of yourself making decisions. … I was just trying to shake myself out of it. I kept saying to myself, 'You're OK, keep fighting. You're OK, keep fighting.'"
The UFC star added that she was still "really f****** sad" about her loss and won't be back in the Octagon any time soon.
