Mission Deli has for the second year running joined other leading UK brands to raise awareness and funds for Breast Cancer Care.

The Breast Cancer awareness month aptly named Pinktober, we can expect to see a flurry of pink t-shirts, fundraising activities and discussion to help raise awareness for this important cause. In anticipation of this special month Mission Deli has been busy thinking pink!

Mission Deli has pledged to continue their partnership with Breast Cancer Care, the only UK wide specialist support charity giving care and advice to thousands of women living with the disease and its effects from day one.

Mission Deli will donate £50,000 to the charity throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and to celebrate this they have given their Original wrap packs a stylish pink make-over.

Shoppers can support Mission Deli with their pledge to donate £50,000 by simply purchasing special Mission Deli Original pink packs from supermarkets across the UK during October 2015.

Sara Rees, Head of Corporate Partnerships at Breast Cancer Care, said "We are delighted to be working in partnership with Mission Foods for the second year. Every 10 minutes, another person in the UK is diagnosed with breast cancer and its devastating effects touch thousands of us every day. The funds raised through our partnership with Mission Foods will help us provide a lifeline of care, support and information for anyone facing breast cancer, from day one."

Mission Deli will wrap the UK in love for October with a Pinktober social media campaign which will showcase a host of pink activity including 'pink-ified' recipes and exclusive competitions. Simply follow Mission Deli on social media and keep up to date with all the Pinktober fun.

Mission Deli's Pinktober packs are available in supermarkets throughout the UK.
