A blazing fireball that is thought to be a meteor flew over the Thai capital at 8:45am on Monday.
There is no evidence of the object hitting the earth's surface which is why it cannot be definitively classified as a meteorite. There are reports of the meteor being seen and heard from a district around 200 km away from the capital.
For those of us who weren't in the area to witness it first-hand, locals who were driving around at the time with dashcams promptly uploaded the footage:
The fireballs have sparked fears that the end of the World is nigh.
A self pro-claimed prophet has claimed that the planet will be destroyed between the 21st and 28th Semtember by an asteriod.
