The traditional bank holiday carnival was beset by heavy downpours and a range of criminal offences, despite a heavy police presence.
By late Monday, 314 people had been arrested for infractions such as criminal damage, drug and weapon possession, theft and assault.
Two people were arrested in connection with the stabbing of a police officer, who received treatment for his injuries in hospital. A 19-year-old man was also stabbed in the street and later taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The annual festival even saw another police officer bitten by a festival-goer.
The Met also reported 3,500 canisters of nitrous oxide, or laughing gas, confiscated during the festival. An officer was punched in the face while seizing 400 canisters, and suffered a dislocated nose.
The gas, which can make people feel calm and giggly, is known as "hippy crack". However, nitrous oxide can also cause loss of blood pressure, fainting and heart attacks.
Police arresting at Notting Hill Carnival
Despite the weather, around one million people attended the Notting Hill Carnival this year to enjoy the festive atmosphere.
