Many Actors from the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie have put their names down on an online campaign to help a terminally ill fan get a sneak peek of the film before its actual release.
The corresponding hashtag is "ForceForDaniel" and it is in aid of Daniel Fleetwood of Houston, Texas. Fleetwood was told by his doctors in July of this year that he only had two months to live.
His story has grown substantially from when he first told his local TV station KPRC-TV of his dying wish to see Episode VII. Ashley, his wife, helped to get his story heard by starting the online campaign. "Even if it's just a movie, that's magic for a lot of people," she told KPRC. Daniel, however is still worried his disease will stop him from seeing the movie. "Judging by how progressive the disease has gotten in the past two months I really don't think that I'll be able to make it," he said.
Mark Hamill, aka Luke Skywalker, was one of the cast members to show support for the campaign, by sharing a tweet that said: "Help spread the word. #ForceForDaniel"
