David Beckham has admitted that he prefers attending rugby matches to watching live football.
Beckham, one of the most famous footballers of all time, said that he enjoys watching live rugby at Twickenham, because opposition supporters can sit together without any hostility or antagonism.
"I love rugby," the former Manchester United star told the Radio Times. "I love watching it and I love the whole thing. I have enjoyed going to Twickenham more than I have enjoyed watching football.
"People sitting together with no nastiness."
The football legend said that while there is "no nastiness" when fans come together to watch rugby, tensions usually run high during football matches.
Beckham revealed that he even felt uneasy when watching his team take on rivals Tottenham as a youngster, adding: "Football is so powerful. It matters so much to people."
