A brand new song from Pierce the Veil, 'King for a Day,' is now available on iTunes. The track features guest vocals by Kellin Quinn of Sleeping With Sirens.
'King For A Day' is taken from the band’s forthcoming album 'Collide With The Sky' which is out July 16th 2012.
You can listen to 'King For A Day' here. Read below what Pierce the Veil’s frontman Vic Fuentes has to say about the song and the collaboration:
Vic Fuentes, "This song is about getting pushed past your breaking point. Sometimes I feel like there are just too many things weighing on my mind at once and I can’t control my thoughts or even my body at times.
"Mike [Fuentes, Pierce the Veil's drummer and Vic's brother] came up with the title and I thought it was a perfect way to describe the song. We wrote the music for this song with my friends Curtis Peoples and Steve Miller in a cabin that we converted into a studio in Big Bear, California. For months, fans had been tweeting at me to do a song with Kellin Quinn from the band Sleeping With Sirens.
"I had never met him before, but we started talking on Twitter due to our mutual fans. I asked him if he’d be down to do a song together and the rest is history!
"Big thanks to our boy Kellin for joining forces and making something special with us, and another big thanks to our fans for inspiring the collaboration."
