Linkin Park, the multi-platinum two-time Grammy-winning rock band have announced a November 24th release date for Road To Revolution, an action-packed CD/DVD set featuring seventeen of the groupâs biggest hits recorded live in concert.
The double-disc set captures the bandâs June 29th 2008 show at the Milton Keynes National Bowl during the sold-out European leg of this past summerâs Projekt Revolution tour. Linkin Parkâs Projekt Revolution has become one of the summer concert seasonâs annual heavyweights and the Milton Keynes gig â played to a packed crowd of almost 50,000 people â was the biggest in the tourâs six-year history.
âOver the course of the past few years, weâve played more than two hundred Projekt Rev shows to hundreds of thousands of fans, and while each of those gigs has been special, the Milton Keynes show has been one of the most memorable,â says Linkin Park co-lead vocalist Chester Bennington. âIt was one of those nights where the band and audience come together as one, and we wanted to share that experience with the fans that couldnât be there.â
Road To Revolution features hidden bonus tracks and includes exclusive, never-before-seen live photos. The CD/DVD set highlights a mix of new hits, including latest single âLeave Out All The Rest,â classic tracks such as âBreaking The Habitâ and âCrawlingâ and two special performancesâââJigga What/Faintâ and âNumb/Encoreââfeaturing Grammy winning rapper Jay-Z. In 2005, âNumb/Encoreâ was awarded a Grammy for âBest Rap/Sung Collaboration.â
