Brit Rocksters ‘Dark Stares’ roll out their debut EP ‘Tell Your Friends’ on Monday 10th September, available through all online stores.
Showcasing an enticing blend of infectious Rock ‘n’ Roll, influenced by the riffy grooves of Queens Of The Stoneage, the classic vibes of Led Zeppelin, and the inventive dexterity of White Stripes, Dark Stares are primed to set loose their own brand of Rock ‘n’ Roll to the nation this Summer!
Born early 2011 and hailing from St Albans, Dark Stares feature three blood brothers - Miles Kristian Howell handles the vocals and guitar, with brothers Taylor and Brett respectively hammering out the beats and supplying the bass groove. Harry Collins perfectly rounds out with the four-piece on lead guitar by adding layered dynamism and gritty depth.
Ever since their inception, the band have continually cut their teeth playing shows; however it wasn’t until the latter part of 2011 when the rising quartet began to play more high profile shows, including a cluster of notably successful dates, managing to rack up supports with Enter Shikari and The Darkness in the process.
Now with a growing fan-base in tow, and a hearty live reputation, the band will release their debut EP ‘Tell Your Friends’ to a national audience.
Loaded with intriguing and enticing tracks, the bands’ debut EP flows with impressive maturity, from the pulsating rhythms and mighty riffage of the opening cut and new video 'Whisky', to the rock 'n' roll swagger of 'Long Live the King'.
The record then draws to a colossal climax with the anthemic 'Invaders'. Dark Stares release ‘Tell Your Friends’ this September and play a host of festivals over the Summer, with the likes of Fun Lovin Criminals and The Subways, in support.
