March 10 – HMV, Northumberland Street, Newcastle – from 5pm
March 12 – HMV, Buchanan Street, Glasgow – from 5pm
In other Trivium news – This weekend, February 13 marks an important day in the history of heavy metal. On February 13, 1970, Black Sabbath released their self-titled debut album. For many, this heralds the birth of heavy metal. It was the foundation upon which the sound of the genre has been built.
In celebration of this Saturday's 40TH Birthday of Heavy Metal, Trivium and Metal Hammer have teamed up to give a gift created from three generations of Heavy Metal - a ground-breaking artist inspired by Black Sabbath being covered by a modern metal band. Available for 48 hours only, UK metalheads can download a FREE MP3 of Trivium covering Sepultura’s Slave New World'.
Not only that, Roadrunner Records are adding a special competition! When fans download their free MP3 from the Metal Hammer website, they will also get the opportunity to win 40 Roadrunner albums of their choice and a signed Trivium flag!
