The View have announced details of their highly-anticipated third album. ‘The Best Lasts Forever,’ which has been produced by Youth and recorded at Britannia Row Studios in London, is the follow-up to their critically-acclaimed second album ‘Which Bitch?’ and will be released on Monday 14th March.
The band have also announced that ‘Grace’ will be the first single to be released from the new album on Sunday 6th March, following on from free download ‘Sunday’ – the video of which was filmed at a secret show at Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club last month – and which was available to fans on their website theviewareonfire.com. Other tracks set to appear on the album include ‘Tragic Magic,’ ‘Underneath The Lights’ and ‘Girl.’
The band have been road testing new material on an intimate tour of the UK which began in Aberdeen on 15th November. The remaining dates are as follows:
Thursday 16th December – Hartlepool Jax Bar
Friday 17th December – Carlisle Brickyard
Saturday 18th December – Dunfermline Velocity
The View are set to embark on another UK tour to coincide with the album release with details to be announced soon.
