Shinedown
Shinedown’s forthcoming album ‘The Sound Of Madness’ was produced by multiple Grammy Award-winner Rob Cavallo and will be released in March 2009 (it debuted at number 8 on the Billboard 200 in June). The band will also be returning to the UK in January following a storming run of dates with Disturbed in October 2008.
            The Jacksonville, Florida-based fivesome exploded onto the US rock scene in 2003 with their RIAA platinum-certified breakthrough debut, ‘Leave A Whisper’. 2005 saw the release of sophomore album ‘Us and Them’, the RIAA gold-certified record that yielded the blockbusting single ‘Save Me’ – a track which dominated the airwaves holding down the number one spot in the mainstream rock charts for a stunning twelve consecutive weeks.
The success of ‘Save Me’ was followed by two further Top 5 hits – ‘Heroes’ and ‘I Dare You.’ It features ‘Fly From The Inside’ their debut single taken from album ‘Leave A Whisper’, the aforementioned ‘Save Me’ and two tracks from forthcoming album ‘Sound Of Madness’; ‘Cyanide Sweet’ and ‘Sound Of Madness’.
From the start, Shinedown have proven to be true road warriors, touring non-stop to bring their hard-edged rock ‘n’ roll to fans across the US. The band has performed countless headline dates, and shared stages with the likes of Seether, Van Halen, 3 Doors Down, Rob Zombie, and Godsmack. They recently wowed UK audiences supporting Disturbed on their October Tour. They will be back in the UK early next year.
